Function: Conduct engineering tests, perform component and finished product tests and inspections, and document results.

Status: Full-time, exempt

SUCCESS FACTORS
Key Performance measure: The ability to execute test plans correctly the first time.
Education requirements: Degree in Engineering Technology
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Abilities: The position requires the ability to think logically, follow technical instructions, keep accurate records and write technical reports. Must have good interpersonal skills. Must understand basic Engineering discipline. Must be able to properly use hand tools, meters, and test equipment.

JOB ELEMENTS
1. Do testing according to approved test plans.
2. Write test reports.
3. Develop work instructions (like drawings & procedures) that demonstrate how tests will be done.
4. Assemble prototype devices.
5. Perform inspections and tests on incoming components and assemblies. Document results.
6. Perform inspections and tests on finished devices. Document results.
