Part-Time Production Operator
 
Department: Production
Function: Experienced and talented individual to assemble, test and package medical devices, as well as a number of additional related production activities.

Supervises: N/A
Location: Circadiance Headquarters
Status: Hourly
Accountability: Assemble electronic and electromechanical medical devices to meet quality standards within the expected cycle time.

Education requirements: Minimum education requirement is a High School diploma.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in an electronic assembly or service environment. 
Skills: General record keeping skills, basic math skills, and excellent communication skills: both verbal and written.

JOB ELEMENTS

  1. Performs assembly of complex electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  2. Perform occasional rework on finished product, to bring the product to the current design standard.
  3. Performs testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet specifications and standards.
  4. Reads work orders, follows production drawings, manufacturing process instructions and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  5. Complete production paperwork to verify all appropriate production and test steps have been properly completed.
  6. Material handling, including receiving components, inspection, moving material within the building, shipping finished product and record keeping.
  7. Order consumables as necessary to support production activities.
  8. Monitor, record and report any unusual problems, situations or opportunities.
